How Ohio calculates registration

Ohio charges a flat $36 for passenger vehicles and then adds a fuel-type fee that reaches $200 for a full electric vehicle. Your county may also charge a permissive tax of up to $30, and deputy registrar offices add their own service fee.

Renewal cycle: annual.
