The state charge is a flat $100 for two years, but the local Motor Vehicle Registration Tax varies enormously by borough and by model year. Residents 65 and older, people with permanent mobility impairments and disabled veterans can have both waived on one vehicle.
Renewal cycle: biennial (permanent option at 8 years).
