Recent change

The all-electric vehicle decal dropped from $200 to $100 and a $50 plug-in hybrid decal was added, both effective July 1, 2026 under 2026 House Bill 145. Older figures published elsewhere still show $200.

The county fee is a statewide statutory formula. Counties do not set their own rates; the money simply goes to the county.
