Wyoming charges a flat $30 state fee plus a county fee of 3 percent of a declining share of the factory price.

W.S. 31-3-101(a)(i). Factory price means the manufacturer’s suggested retail price for that make, model and trim when new, excluding federal excise tax and transportation to the point of sale.
The all-electric vehicle decal dropped from $200 to $100 and a $50 plug-in hybrid decal was added, both effective July 1, 2026 under 2026 House Bill 145. Older figures published elsewhere still show $200.
