What to know about Idaho

A flat 6 percent with essentially no local sales tax. Trade-in credit works only when you buy from a dealer and trade at the same time. Manufacturer rebates paid to the seller do not reduce the taxable price in Idaho, which differs from how Idaho treats most other rebates.
